Bryony Hussey

(b. 1991, Ireland)

I'm a Dublin born artist, living and working in the UK and Ireland. In my work I reiterate, rehouse and reactivate gestures, language and patterns, experimenting to find a format that fits. I'm primarily focused on the connections, co-potentials and habitations of photography, poetry, print and moving image. Researching accident and permanence, locality and technology, gesture and language, I explore how forms of representation and image-making reframe lived experiences.

Currently I run participatory projects and activities for the National Gallery of Ireland responding to their collection; touring exhibition programme; and the needs of their community partners. I also work in FE at Gloucestershire College (UK).
